Dog behavior training is more than making your dog all obedient and safe to leave home alone, process is to complex to reduce it to this. Well, there are so many things or ways our pets can not only touch our hearts, but also bring so many laughs, joys, surprises, etc. into our lives. Often at unexpected moments. We can recall accounts of them awakening a family during the night because a fire had started in the house --- and the family was able to escape. And of someone losing consciousness and the pet revived them by licking or breathing in their face. I can recall my cat getting close to my face to determine if I was asleep or awake, or simply to get my attention. And they have summoned help when someone was hurt or sick. I hope your pet (or pets) immeasureably added great joy to your weekend. I lost my DeeDee three years ago, a cat I got from an animal shelter as a eight week old kitten in 1986 --- yes, she was 18 years old. I have an out door cat that someone just dumped off on a bitterly cold winter day, and tender hearted me could not allow her to go without food, a warm place, or being cared for. Nor could I bring myself to taking her to the animal shelter, and then wondering if someone would provide her a good home. So, may you and your pet both add greatly to each day you have together.
